I sat down to a new game I like Frenzy. First spin DDB, A:c:,Q:c:,Q:h:,5:s:,10:c:, I kept A:c:,Q:c:,10:c:, spin straight flush. Five coins, $18, Win $4,000. My first one. ;)

Lots of times, I have been playing one coin to warm up machine when they run cold. NEVER AGAIN. If I cannot afford to play five coins, I am moving. I have justified it by saying that the higher limit machine pays better odds. I said I would be happy with 250x1 coin. Now, I don't think I would.

Yeah, you should always bet max or you missing out on a lot of value.

Congrats on your score! However, using our video poker calculator (https://casinointellect.com/video-poker-calculator/), assuming 50/9/7 payouts on Double Double Bonus, holding the pair of queens was the better play by quite a lot:

This time it worked out for you, but in the long run you want to hold the qualifying pair.

I went to check because I figured the odds were against what I did. That hand comes up a lot, three to the royal with a paying pair.

I play in IN, MO, MS and NC. None of these machines give proper odds unless you play $5 per coin. The best will be 9/6/4. Sometimes the multi hands will pay 7/5/4.

I like the excitement of multi-hand, but money lasts playing JOB.

Yeah, 3 to a Royal does seem to come up a lot.

The most that I had is just 2 royals. I'm still trying if I can make it to 3.

Wow, 2 in video poker is good.

I've gotten them with our trainers and in real money home games with wildcards. I don't remember getting one in real money video poker though.

I'm the unlucky one of my gang that mashes buttons at the casino. Both of my other friends have hit royals, and never let me forget that I still haven't. I vividly remember being dealt 4 to a royal a few times (2.14% chance, baby!) but never hit. :(

Tonight I didn't have to even draw. I was playing Frenzy. The machine was hitting, I set my stop number. I made another hit and reset my stop number. I was playing three hands on a .25 machine. I look at the spin and I have a Royal on all three rows. The machine held the cards on it's on. Clubs again, A-10. :cool:

Again tonight. Same machine, I was playing three line Frenzy. I drew to get one card for a Royal flush. I got it on one line. It's amazing. Just a few weeks ago, I was thinking that I would never get one. I don't want to leave this place. :cool:
