Eric,

I'm a recreational blackjack player and I really enjoy using your trainer to practice my basic strategy skills. At 99% of the places I play at the rules are the same: 6 deck, dealer hits soft 17, DAS, RSA, no surrender. I refuse to play the single deck, 6/5 BJ ripoff that some casinos offer. From what I see, for 6 deck, S17, your trainer chart is correct in recommending that I stand on A7 vs 2 and on A8 vs 6. However, from what I can find elsewhere, the proper strategy when dealer H17 is to double with A7 vs 2 and to double with A8 vs 6. Can you comment on this? If you agree, could you add the option to select these rules at the beginning of the trainer game? Another addition I would like to see in your trainer is the option to hide the dealer/player card totals. If I'm trying to get faster at determining proper basic strategy decisions, not having to add up the totals is not going to help me when I'm in a casino and have to add them up in my head. These are just suggestions. I work around the totals issue by taping a piece of paper over them and ignoring the percentage of correct decisions made, knowing that not all of the "incorrect" decisions I make are unintentional. Again, congratulations on a fine trainer. It's the best one I have found to date.
